Thai citizens have been unable to access YouTube since Wednesday last week. The Thai government decided to block access to Goggles' video sharing portal after an ‘offensive’ slideshow mocking Thailand’s monarch was uploaded by a user calling himself ‘Paddidda’.

A storm broke out after it came to light that Google replaced imagery depicting damage caused by Hurricane Katrina on their popular map portal. The mammoth hurricane struck the Mississippi Gulf Coast in 2005 flooding over 80% of New Orleans.
