Hi,

Which one is correct:

"You'll get used to it after awhile."

or

"You'll get used to it after a while."

Hi Hioton,

The second one is better.
You should not connect "a" and "while" if "while" is purely a noun, as in this example:

You'll get used to it after an hour.
You'll get used to it after a day.
You'll get used to it after a while.
