I am confused between using:

- to enter i the room 

- to enter the room

Which is the best to use, please?

Hello Louvette,

To enter a room is always used as meaning to go into a room. One should use to enter the room.

If you are using to enter in another sense, such as starting a discussion, you will use: to enter into a discussion.
