Hello,

What should I use with this sentence?

Yesterday, the discussion was "about" or "over" whether or not policy can change.

Thank you !

Hello there,

correct : Yesterday, the discussion was about whether or not we can change the policy.

Not correct: Yesterday, the discussion was over whether or not we can change the policy.

It would be correct to say, "The argument was over whether or not we can change the policy."

Hope this helps.
