Hi,

I don't understand the use of the verb DO in some sentences like this: He does want to come  with me .

What's the difference with that sentence: He wants to come with me

Thanks fyou

Hello Elanor,

This sentence means that the person speaking wants to put an emphasis on the fact that the person wants to come with him.

cheers,
