Malagasy women train as solar technicians, lighting up village

[Article] In March 2016, thanks to a partnership between the NGO WWF and Barefoot College (Indian NGO), four women from the remote village of Ambakivao in the West of Madagascar left for India to become "solar technicians". Back in their village after 6 months of training, they are now able to install, repair and maintain the photovoltaic panels.
